62. Find out why Summer Time on the English Canals on a Narrowboat is just Heavenly!

Well summer has definitely arrived in the UK and we experience some gorgeous early evening cruises as we leave Bugsworth Basin and head towards Furnace Vale on our Narrowboat, Morning Star. We visit the Torr’s Riverside Park and the Millennium Walkway. Why not join us as we explore this gorgeous area of Derbyshire.

Thanks for watching and welcome to this weeks vlog. We head off to the Millennium Walkway but we don’t make it as friends offer us a glass of wine and four hours later we are still there. It’s time leave Bugsworth Basin, we fill with water, get rid of our rubbish and head out on a short Cruise just a 20 minute walk from our mooring spot. After a few days we decide it’s time to move on as the internet is dreadful in this location.

I try to film a steam train but you won’t believe what happens. We have a visit from the fuel boat and finally head out to Torr’s Riverside Park to explore the area and even mange to grab a drink and snack at the Shrub Club. Dexter gets to cool off in the river and we have a lovely day out followed by a short summers evening cruise. The birdsong and sunset are just stunning. Can cruising the Canals get any better than this?
