55. Discovering the beautiful Peak Forest Canal onboard our 57′ Narrowboat. What do we really think?

We leave Haughton Dale Nature Reserve, which has been our base for 13 days and we are heading towards Marple Junction, through two tunnels including Woodley Tunnel at 167 yards long and Hyde Bank Tunnel at 308 yards long, plus 8 bridges.

We leave Hyde Bank Tunnel and enter another world, plus we bump into an old friend and meet new ones along the way.

Most of these bridges and tunnels are a very tight squeeze. Do we make it unscathed? The fire alarm goes off onboard our Narrowboat but who is responsible?
